Sarah Squire
MSIM, 2012
Sarah quit her job at the University of Washington to start her own technology consulting company, Engage Identity, which focuses on people-centered solutions to identity and access management. Some of her clients include the Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institute for Standards and Technology, MIT, and the Province of British Columbia.
Christa Strickler
MLIS, 2012
As of 2022, Christa was serving as Associate Professor of Library Science and Resource Description Librarian at Wheaton College in Illinois. In August 2022, she started a new position as Collection Metadata Integrity & Management Librarian at the University of Notre Dame.
Julie Tanaka
MLIS, 2012
In 2022, Julie returned to her home state of California. In May, she started as the new Director of Special Collections and College Archives at Occidental College in Los Angeles. She also co-presented a webinar, "Disrupting Assumptions: Forging Interdisciplinary Archival Engagement," with Claudia Willett (Processing Archivist, Stanford University) for the Society of California Archivists and co-authored a poster presentation, "Do What You Can with What You Have: A Rebuttal to 'Do More with Less'," for the 2022 Society of American Archivists Conference.
Monnee Tong

Monnee started working as a Teen Services Librarian at the San Diego Central Library in 2014. She has worked for the San Diego Public Library since 2012, previously in the Art, Music, and Recreation section. She was named a 2014 ALA Emerging Leader.
Harrison Weingard
Informatics, 2012
Harrison is working as a software engineer at Apple, developing tools and processes that can build, release and support operating systems that power Macs, iPhones, Apple Watches, Apple TVs, etc.
Sola Whitehead

In 2014 Sola began working as the Medical Librarian for the VA Portland Health Care System, supporting both patients and clinicians.
Megan Willan

In August 2017, Megan began working in a new position with the King County Library System as Adult Services Librarian in the South Central region, serving the Woodmont Library.
Rachel Woodbrook

Rachel is now the data curation librarian at the University of Michigan.
Zeyu Zhang
MSIM, 2012
Zeyu has worked for Deloitte since 2012. He started as a business technology analyst, and in 2014 was promoted to be a consultant with the company, helping clients in the finance, healthcare, and telecom industries. Zeyu recently served a one-year term on Deloitte's national Business Technology Analyst Advisory Council (BTAAC). In 2015, he is looking to get more involved with new tech innovations in enterprise and consumer spaces.
Joy Zhang
Informatics, 2012
Joy joined Affirma Consulting as a project manager. After completing a challenging but extremely successful project that resulted in a half-million dollars in revenue and the launch of a change management practice at the firm, Joy was promoted to Project Management Office (PMO) manager in March 2020.
