Alpha DeLap

Alpha is the teacher-librarian and media specialist for grades 2-8 at the St. Thomas School in Medina, Washington. In 2018, she was selected to the 2020 Newbery Book Award Committee.
Nic Dobbins

As of 2024 Nic was an assistant professor and assistant director of education at Johns Hopkins University, Biomedical Informatics & Data Science Section.
Diane Doctor

Diane is the Academic Advisor and Internship Coordinator for 175 students in the graduate program in Biomedical Informatics at Oregon Health & Science University. She co-authored an article that was published in Applied Clinical Informatics, "Collaboration Leads to Enhanced Curriculum."
Bryan Dosono

Brian received his Ph.D. in Information Science & Technology at the Syracuse University School of Information Studies in spring 2019. He is working as an experience researcher at Airbnb in San Francisco.
Violet Fox

Violet is working at the Library of Congress as one of the editors of the Dewey Decimal Classification.
Eli Gandour-Rood

Eli has worked as the Science Liaison Librarian for the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA since 2013. He served on the 2014 organizing committee for Science Boot Camp West, a regional conference for science librarians, which had its highly successful 2nd annual meeting in July 2014, hosted on the UW campus.
Sofie Gogic

Sofie works as a manager for marketing operations for UW Medicine, helping the team procure and implement a new project management system. She is also spearheading a reorganization of physical and digital enterprise collections.
Jennifer Gonzalez

Jennifer is a Librarian / Legal Information Analyst with the Law Library of Congress and successfully coordinated a remote metadata internship over the summer with 70 law and library students, including several UW iSchool students.
Kate Hagan

Kate recently joined the team at Delightful Communications as the Digital Marketing Program Manager. Focusing on personal branding and strategic content, her latest projects involve innovative new technologies including strategic search with Bing Ads and the Microsoft IoT.
Claudia Haines

Claudia is the Youth Services Librarian at the Homer Public Library in Homer, Alaska. She recently co-authored the white paper "Media Mentorship in Libraries Serving Youth" for the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC).
