Katherine Jardine
MLIS, 2014
Katherine managed the advocacy & communications efforts for Friends of the San Francisco Public Library while obtaining her MLIS from the UW's Information School. She then worked in Public Affairs for the San Francisco Public Library. As of 2022, Katherine had recently moved back to Seattle, Washington, where she now works in the Borrower Services Department in Seattle Public Library's Central location.
Katherine Jardine

Katherine began her library career at Friends of the San Francisco Public Library, where she managed outreach and communications efforts. She later earned her MLIS from the UW's Information School, and began working in Public Affairs for the San Francisco Public Library. After moving to Seattle, she worked with OCLC on an IMLS grant to help aid decision-making for libraries across the country during the pandemic. She also held positions in the UW's Department of Psychiatry and School of Social Work. She currently works for the Seattle Public Library.

Kate works at the Disney Connected and Advanced Technologies office in Seattle as a User Interface Developer, working on the web platforms for several of their products.

As of 2021, Tonya was working as a research manager at Holland & Knight LLP in the Los Angeles office.
MJ Loaiza
MLIS, 2014
MJ started his career with the San Antonio Public Library in January 2015. After helping open two new branches in the roles of a Teen Services Librarian and an Adult Services Librarian, he is now serving the San Antonio community as the Assistant Manager of the Teen Library @ Central, located at the Central Library in downtown San Antonio.

In 2024, Katharine became the interim associate dean of scholarly communication and content strategies at Indiana University Indianapolis.
