Andrew Magnusson

Andrew's first book, "Practical Vulnerability Management," is out in September 2020 from No Starch Press. It is a hands-on guide to building a vulnerability management system using free tools and some Python to glue it all together, taking the reader step-by-step through building and tuning the system to provide actionable vulnerability intelligence to improve their organization's security posture.
The iSchool's own Annie Searle reviewed early drafts of the first part of this book!

Korissa McGlocklin

Korissa accepted a new position in October 2022 as the Director of Extended Learning at Spokane Community College and bought her first home in June 2023. She oversees library circulation and the non-credit ACT 2 program (education for those ages 50 and older).
Vatsal Mehta

After graduating, Vatsal moved to New York to work for Bank of America as a business analyst. In 2018, he moved to Goldman Sachs as a data analyst within the Finance Division, working on the division's data strategy.
Justin Melde

Justin is the database administrator for the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is responsible for organizing, securing, and maintaining large, cloud-based data systems across the school’s finance, health, and education sectors.
Bryce Newell
PhD, 2015
In 2023, Bryce was awarded tenure and promoted to the rank of associate professor at the University of Oregon, where he is a member of the Media Studies faculty within the School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC). He has also been appointed to serve as the director of the SOJC's undergraduate Honors Program.
