Victor Ung

Informatics, 2013

After graduating, Victor went into tech consulting at Accenture as a developer. After two years of traveling, he decided to transition into product management. The more he interacted with people, he realized that he was getting more curious about the people themselves and what was driving their behaviors and communication styles. He saw that many of us, himself included, lack social-emotional skills in not only working relationships, but in interpersonal relationships as well. He started diving into his own education around emotional intelligence to better understand himself. He still has much to learn, but is having a lot of fun sharing the tools he learns along the way to help others improve so that we can all "human" better for our careers, for the people we care about, and for our lives. He got certified as a life coach and now works with people one-on-one and in groups to deepen their relationships with themselves and others. He also has a blog and podcast called "Human Up," where he shares the conversations that need to happen in order to align who we want to be with how we're showing up in this world.
