Biography

Sarah Barrett is an information architect, product strategist, and people manager. As a professional, Sarah's practice focuses on realizing foundational IA changes in large, complex contexts. She is currently the Director of Information Architecture at Microsoft, where she oversees the digital transformation of Microsoft Learn, one of the largest collections of technical information anywhere. As an educator, Sarah is passionate about helping students discover information architecture at work in their diverse career paths. She is an iSchool alumnus with her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington.
