Zach Charat is a guest lecturer at the University of Washington Information School specializing in business and nonprofit analytics, statistics, and data visualization. Zach is passionate about helping people understand and influence the world with data and information. His background includes ten years of experience at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation providing data analysis support for its Global Health Discovery & Translational Sciences as well as Neglected Tropical Diseases strategic programs. He currently serves as a Data Strategy Consultant for technology innovators Tableau and Salesforce helping leaders make intentional use of data to make strategic decisions through experimental design, use of appropriate statistical techniques, and clear articulation of findings.
