Biography

Tammy Moorse is a part-time lecturer at the University of Washington teaching metadata and cataloging. She is the project coordinator for the Red Book of Community Information at Hamilton Public Library in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Tammy has a diverse professional background in digital asset management; metadata design and workflows for still and moving images in broadcast and communications settings; archival practices for physical broadcast media; and cataloging in public libraries. She consults on single language and bilingual controlled vocabularies, their design and implementation in digital asset management and library catalogs. Tammy is the founder of OCATS the Ontario Cataloguing and Metadata Workers group.
