Biography

Dr. Manker is a guest faculty member at the University of Washington Information School specializing in information decision sciences, project management and cybersecurity. She is passionate about advancements in technology, changing business needs, and how design and management systems help identify, solve problems and make sound decisions quickly.

In addition to her work at the Information School, Manker has diverse experience in IT strategic management, implementing large scale business ERP systems; and safeguarding information system assets by identifying and solving security problems. Manker uses her experience as a chief information officer to teach students how information is used for decision-making, and for the coordination, control, analysis, and visualization of information in an organization.
