Biography

Alexander Bell-Towne is a guest lecturer for the iSchool. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Informatics in 2017. As a student, he was the Director of IT in IUGA, an iSchool IT Student Assistant, and a TA for Client and Server Side Web Development classes.

After graduation, he became a Software Engineer at Weebly, an online website-building tool. Weebly was acquired by Square, Inc (now Block Inc) in 2018. He has worked for the company ever since from its offices in San Francisco, New York, and Seattle. He is now a Tech Lead on the Square Online Checkout team.
