iSchool Employer Connections Fair 2016

More than 600 students came with their resumes and elevator pitches to meet with 40 organizations at the iSchool Annual Employer Connections Fair (ECF).

The ECF took place on February 3 and welcomed employers interested in hiring for a wide range of information technology and information science jobs and internships. It was open to iSchool students, alumni and others across campus looking for careers in the information science field. Many companies sent iSchool alumni to find more talent and tout the benefits of their organization.

The iSchool offered several workshops to prepare students for the ECF including resume review, employer research, and how to best navigate the event for your particular interest. iSchool students were encouraged to upload their resumes to the iCareers database for review by prospective employers prior to and after the event.

Sponsors included Alaska Airlines, AT&T, Avanade, Deloitte, LabKey Software, Lake Partners, Microsoft, Sno-Isle Libraries and West Monroe, many of whom are iSchool iAffiliate partners.
