Gates Archive Information Session
Gates Archive is the private archive of the personal and philanthropic collections of the Gates family. Committed to creating a culture of learning and belonging, it is a team working to build a next-generation archive with a focus toward digital-forward processes.
Starting in March 2021, Gates Archive will be seeking interns to gain experience working with archival materials. This opportunity is designed for interns to work with the organization's team to acquire the skills essential for professional practice while contributing its work. The interns will have the opportunity to complete a project and gain experience working in all archive program areas, as well as with its technology team.
These are paid internships and will begin in June 2021. There are two scheduling options: a full-time 20-week internship for a recent graduate, or a part-time (up to 20 hours a week) 40-week internship for students who are currently enrolled.
During the session, representatives will also answer questions about other opportunities at the organization.
