1 Student Work Display Process

A documented process for collecting, digitizing (if relevant and appropriate), displaying, promoting and leveraging artifacts of iSchool student work - e.g. capstone, portfolios, theses, student leadership and iServe activities, fieldwork placements and internships. This process will include identified contexts for promoting and celebrating student work such as awards from professional associations, university awards for students etc. It will also include an annual open house event for the iSchool for the display of student work to strategic audiences (internal and external).

A collection and updated display of artifacts (both paper and electronic) of student capstone, student portfolios, and research examples of student learning outcomes.

1 Faculty Work Display Process

A documented process for collecting, digitizing (if relevant and appropriate), displaying, promoting and leveraging artifacts that demonstrate the impact and value of each faculty member's research, scholarship or creative work (at least two examples for each). This documented process will include identified contexts for promoting (e.g. recruitment events) and celebrating faculty work (e.g. awards from professional and scientific associations, university awards, and iSchool awards for teaching and research etc.). It will also include the process for hosting an annual open house event for the iSchool for the display of faculty work to strategic audiences (internal and external).

2 Collect Faculty Work

A collection and updated display of artifacts that demonstrate or showcase the impact or value of each faculty member’s research, scholarship or creative work (at least two examples each). Encourage all faculty to contribute extra examples as they become available.

This documented process will include techniques for mobilizing and leveraging the showcased artifacts of operational work for relevant events (recruitment activities) and to strategic audiences (internal and external).
