Dear iSchool Community,
In January, all University of Washington Schools and Colleges received a memo from the President and Provost outlining the challenges the UW will face in regards to the State budget. This letter asked us to develop a business plan for the iSchool "at levels of reduction in central support (both permanent general operating and designated operating funds) of 8%, 10%, and 12%." We now have a business plan that identifies where we can reduce resources, and at the same time stay true to the vision and mission of the iSchool.
