Scholarship Application for Continuing MLIS Students
The Information School offers a limited number of scholarships for continuing MLIS students. These awards are granted based on financial need and academic merit.
To be considered for one of these scholarships, you must be a returning MLIS student for the Autumn 2009 school year. In addition to your basic information (name, program, email, etc.), the scholarship survey will ask you to list any leadership positions, comment on your participation at the iSchool, explain how a scholarship would benefit you next year, and provide you with the opportunity to share any additional information. Please fill out the online application as indicated below.
Applicants will be notified by June regarding the outcome of their application.
Some scholarships are awarded through the Information School on behalf of specific donors from the community and may require additional information or documents from the applicant. You will be notified if additional material is requested. Refer to the details and instructions for specialized scholarships and fellowships.
