The sponsor will provide a total of twenty-five scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000 each to legally blind students in the following categories: entering freshmen, undergraduates (sophomores, juniors, and seniors), graduate students, and vocational/technical school students. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens.

Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA) Century Scholarship for People With Disabilities [http://www.ala.org/work/awards/scholars.html] This scholarship is for a library school student or students with a disability or disabilities admitted to an ALA-accredited library school program. Up to $2500 is awarded by ASCLA Library Service to Special Populations Section Library Service to People with Physical Disabilities Forum. Must be U.S. or Canadian citizen. There are no requirements on semester hours for a continuing student. Factors considered: Academic excellence, financial needs, leadership and professional goals.

A total of 15 scholarships are awarded to legally blind scholars pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study. Awards range from $3,000 to $4,000. Previous applicants and winners are encouraged to reapply.

Our scholarships are designed to encourage students to pursue studies in computer science and related technical disciplines. Students from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico will be awarded scholarships in recognition of their passion for software, academic excellence, and ability to make a difference in the software industry. We offer four types of technical scholarships to current undergraduate students: General Scholarship, Women's Scholarship, Underrepresented Minority Scholarship, and Scholarships for Students with Disabilities.
