List of Host Sites
Following is a list of some of the host sites that MLIS students may work with on their Directed Fieldworks. This is not an all-inclusive list; please check with the MLIS Academic Advisor to inquire about any host sites not listed. Students should also review the Student Checklist and submit the appropriate DFW Forms (initial application materials). Once this is complete, the MLIS Academic Advisor may provide you with specific contact information for host sites.
If your company/organization would like to be added to this list, please email mardup@uw.edu.
CLICK HERE FOR A PDF LISTING OF THE BELOW COMPANIES/ ORGANIZATIONS.
The PDF list includes descriptions of the host sites, including quarters in which they can host DFW students and the type of fieldwork projects available.
Current MLIS students may also view the LIS 590 SharePoint site to see comments on previous host sites made by other students: https://portal.ischool.washington.edu/sites/dfw/.

- In addition, in August - September 2010 the iSchool is hosting two study abroad programs (Exploration Seminars), one in the Netherlands and the other in South Korea.
