Other Electives*

In addition to the options, students may create an individualized track of study with the help of an advisor. Students may petition for any course to count towards the major elective requirement using the online petition form. Whenever possible, students are encouraged to submit course petitions for approval prior to registration.  A small number of courses from outside departments are "pre-approved" to satisfy the Informatics Major Electives requirement.  For a list of these pre-approved electives, check here.
