Office of Student Financial Aid

UW and the Information School offer two types of financial aid: need-based and merit-based. For need-based financial aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. This standard form can be completed online at the FAFSA website. For FAFSA deadline information, visit the UW Office of Student Financial Aid website.

Undergraduate Financial Aid

The Information School offers additional scholarships, assistantships, and financial aid in two categories: for specific populations and for specific programs.

Students are encouraged to join our e-mail list to directly receive e-mails with current information about selected upcoming scholarship programs, information sessions, workshops, and other opportunities and events. We will send messages to the list no more than weekly. We’re also on Facebook
