Cris provides oversight and coordination of the iSchool’s four academic programs and manages the curricular planning and teaching assignment processes, serves on the Academics Council, supervises time schedule coordination; oversees effective use of the Graduate Assistant Crew, and maintains the academic policies and procedures of the School. Cris joined the University of Washington in 1999 after spending some time traveling and living abroad. She has a B.A. in English from Humboldt State University (1992) and an M.L.I.S. from the UW Information School (2003).
