Current Projects

Transfer of Learning Across IT Projects

With Jill Woelfer; partially funded by I3M. This project examines the behavioral competencies and leadership behaviors that experienced IT project managers apply when facing critical situations in their projects, and how have they developed those competencies.

Developing a Validated Competency-Based Performance Model for IT Project Managers

With Jill Woelfer. Building on the Transfer of Learning project, the focus of this study is to develop and validate a competency-based performance model for IT project managers.

Managing Virtual Teams: An integrative literature review

With Jill Woelfer and Kevin Desouza. This review integrates relevant empirical research across disciplines and synthesizes this work with respect to the primary factors influencing effective virtual teamwork in order to identify those areas that are well-researched and to highlight the major gaps.
